Ministry

Bec first joined staff to mentor young people as a primary role but quickly found herself in a leader and developer of registrar work role and revolutionising processes for three locations systems and assisting more, with others still in the queue!  Bec has a love for effectiveness and efficiency and believes that the mission-field need not have any less of a standard.  She is a quick learner and has enhanced her skills for the job as she sees the need, learning coding for web forms and more.
For many years she was an integral part of leading a youth surf team and has helped many emerging leaders find their feet in missions.  Other roles she has carried include: Head of Hospitality, Daycare and Homeschooling Director, DTS staff, DTS co-leader, DTS Outreach Leader, Wednesday night cook,  member of the Community Leadership Team and not to forget, like all YWAM staff, her work also entails the random development/maintenance projects from time to time like painting!

In 2014 Bec did a Cert IV in Primary Healthcare for Developing Nation Communities (IPHC) with her practicum in PNG.  She now teaches on this course to help others learn much needed skills for places that have no to little access to doctors.
With her love for others and her heart to help, she loves empowering others with skills to make a difference.

One of her favourite activities is sharing with DTS students about hearing God's voice and seeing staff learn the transforming power of prayer and be empowered to be all that God has called them to be.  What a joy to be called to serve God in this way.
Villages are often very remote with poor roads and often no bridges.
